Perranporth Surf Lifesaving Club Surf patrol Volunteers

Sign Up For Surf Club Patrols

The summer holidays are almost upon us and it’s that time of year again when we ask our club members to put themselves forward and help out with Club Patrols. We have had a long and established history with keeping the beach safe and although the RNLI do a very professional job today we still have our place alongside them. This time of year can get extremely busy for the RNLI and any extra help is both appreciated and required.

Whether you hold a full lifeguard award, a first aid award or you are keen to just help volunteer for the club alongside the RNLI then please do not hesitate and let Simon Boyle or Robin Howell know.

Robin Howell will be your main point of contact for the volunteer patrols and you can contact him through email (judgedread10@hotmail.com) or mobile (07815 520573). Alternatively, you can speak to Simon Boyle, Club Captain on 07813 994656.

For our members that are currently doing the lifesaving course with Dave Meads, this is a great opportunity to put into practice what you have been taught. Also if you are keen to work with the RNLI in the coming years then you will need to tally up some volunteering hours to help you on your way.

The easiest days for most people to help out are on the weekend which also suits the RNLI most. Below are the weekends that we have been asked to help out with. We suggest that you volunteer for a couple of dates so we can place you subject to numbers.
