As a charity, the running of our Club is overseen by a Management Committee of volunteers (often referred to as the Committee), who are legally responsible for the delivery of the charitable aims. The Club’s constitution explains exactly how the Committee operates. You can find this Constitution online in the Club Library as part of the Membership Area of the Club’s website.
In short, this Committee is made up of the Honorary Officers (excluding the President) AND a number of elected members. Below you will find a list of the current Committee members and their responsibilities. Each Committee member will have a team of volunteers (fellow club members) who help run everything within their area of responsibility.
It is important to know that as a member you can offer your help to each of these Committee members. For example, if you want to help with fundraising or have a fundraising initiative, you can contact the Fundraising Officer. In an ideal situation, each committee member and/or sub-committee has a team of volunteers at their disposal at any given time.
