Perranporth SLSC takes its responsibility for Child Protection extremely seriously. Child protection is about keeping children safe from abuse and protecting them from people who are unsuitable to work with children.

Perranporth SLSC uses guidelines produced by SLSGB as the basis of its Child Welfare policy.

Approach

• The welfare of the child is paramount
• All children, whatever their age, culture, disability, gender, language, racial, origin, religious beliefs and/or sexual identity have the right to protection from
  abuse
• All suspicions and allegations of abuse will be taken seriously and responded to swiftly and appropriately
• All club representatives who work with children will be recruited with regard to their suitability for that responsibility and will be provided with guidance and/or training in good practice and child protection procedures
• Working in partnership with children, their parents/carers and other agencies is key to promoting young people’s welfare

Nipper Waiting List

Nipper membership and the waiting list falls under the responsibility of the Nipper Manager – Melanie Munialo.

To add your child to the Nipper Waiting List

1. Please navigate to our Perranporth SLSC Cloud
2. Here you can setup an account in your name
3. From there you can add a linked account for your child
4. Select the Nipper Waiting List category and checkout (£0)

We are currently working hard to update the way we manage our Nipper Waiting List. We will make the proces as easy as possible, transparant and we will optimise communication with you so you know what you can expect.

We completely understand that as a parent this is crucial.
