The organisation of Perranporth SLSC is the responsibility of the following groups.

Trustees

As a charity, the running of our club is overseen by a group of trustees, who are legally responsible for the delivery of the charitable aims.

The trustees are:
Robert Plimley
Alan Homes
Angus Easson
Chris Harding
Thomas Tremewan

Committee

The day-to-day running of our club is done by a group of members elected at the Annual General Meeting held in early December. The contact details of committee members and other key club members and their roles are outlined under the Committee tab on this site or on this page.

Four sub-committees have been set-up to help co-ordinate the myriad activities entailed in running a club like Perranporth SLSC. These sub-committees are:

• Lifesaving – organising and delivering lifesaving and inshore rescue boat training and patrols
• Sport – organising sports coaching, training and competitions
• Fundraising – co-ordinating our club’s never ending fundraising effort
• Buildings and facilities – ensuring the maintenance of our clubhouse and equipment

How cool is that?

Surf Life Saving Great Britain

SLSGB is the national umbrella organisation for the country’s surf life saving clubs. Although our club is an independent charity we, along with other clubs, belong to SLSGB who co-ordinate national competitions and run surf lifesaving awards. For further information visit the SLSGB website.
